Flipside #28 (1981)
This special Flipside issue was inserted into the Rodney on The Roq Vol 2 album. It has stuff on bands such as Black Flag [check out photo of Henry wR with his surf board, fucken rad!], Social Distortion, Minutemen, Red Cross, CH3, Posh Boy Records, Agent Orange, Red Rockers etc that were also on the LP.

Sorry for the long stretches between posts...life has been busy lately...

Here is Hit List #1. When Jeff Bale bolted from MRR back in the 1990's, he attempted a competitive magazine. He assembled some pretty heavy hitters in the punk journalism world to contribute, resulting in this tome. There is a huge amount of well written text, definitely worth the download. If anybody has more info on the history of this publication, please post it below.

I have been fixing this one up for sometime, the 'zine was so big I had to split it into two parts for easier consumption/downloading...full page ads were vaporized...

Flipside Fanzine has been resurected for another go. As far as PunksIsHippies understand, this is going to be an online thing only. This version is from one of the original owners and people who contributed in the 80's.

Jeremy over at the Hardcore Archaeologist has released a pdf of this 'zine he put together. It's compiled with various images put up on the net over the last few years. No text but it's important that these images exist. He may do an updated version soon. Very cool, check it out!
